I completely agree with jariemonah! I found this song randomly three years
ago and I keep coming back to it. I think I can safely say that it’s my
favorite instrumental ever, even though it’s barely two minutes long. It’s

You know, I do love that Linkin Park changes up their style. In fact, A
Thousand Suns is near the top of my favorite albums of theirs (really under
appreciated), but stuff like this does not get old. I don’t know why Rick
Rubin said their original sound would eventually get dated because
listening to this and Mike’s scoring for the Raid are refreshing.

@gonzalobuen Wrong. Mike and lil jon scored the MTV VMA’s a few years ago,
and this is one of them he made.

@gonzalobuen what are you goin on about. first track of the hybrid theory
ep is carousel. then technique, step up, and one, high voltage, and part of
me. i have the hybrid theory ep, demos of all those songs expect step up,
and this song ( catharsis doesn’t sound like any of them!!!). if anything
the intro of this song is the exact same of lockjaw, but otherwise it’s an
unreleased VMA score by mike shinoda as the title says!!!
