Linkin park to release their new album soon

LINKIN PARK will release their new single “Burn It Down”, to radio on 16th April. The track comes off as the band’s fifth LP. It is currently being recorded now for a summer release.

It is short video in which co-vocalist Mike Shinoda will talk about a new song. In the clip, Shinoda can be seen standing in the middle of the set for the “Burn it Down” video, which he is directing. He says that they are on the set for their new video ‘Burn it Down’. The song will be releasing on the radio on 16th April. According to The Pulse Of Radio, LINKIN PARK singer Chester Bennington of late appeared to have admitted that the band went ahead with the experimental, heavily electronic sound of its last album, “A Thousand Suns”. While talking to Kerrang! Magazine about the band’s upcoming CD, Bennington stated that with this album, they have included a lot of guitar work with big choruses along with heavy electronic stuff. This has been done to give it a really big wall of sound feeling without letting in a lot of metal.

“A Thousand Suns” separated the band’s fans, while not selling many copies as the group’s previous three multi-platinum studio efforts. Shinoda told The Pulse Of Radio that LINKIN PARK were pleased that they went in a new direction. He stated that the music that thay were writing had to give a fresh feeling. So it was challenging and they have pledged not to bore anybody.

Bennington also said that the band would keep a distance from the political themes as it tackled on “A Thousand Suns”. They are keen on writing more about relationships.
